Pre & Post-Nuptial Agreements

Nuptial agreements delineate what happens when a marriage dissolves or one of the parties passes away. While the pre-nuptial agreement is finalized is prior to marriage, and a post-nuptial agreement is entered into after the marriage, both agreements are centered around the division of assets and protecting the interests of the parties.

So whether you’re about to walk down the aisle or already betrothed, broaching the subject of a pre-nuptial or post-nuptial agreement can be a tricky endeavor.  At Bennett & Bangser, LLC we fully understand the “Catch 22” of wanting to protect your assets or interests in property, while also not wanting to upset your spouse-to-be or current husband or wife.

We have a comprehensive approach to examining the financial issues and setting solid expectations for financial rights and non-marital property ownership—while also doing everything possible to keep things calm and collected on the home front! While not every situation calls for a pre or post-nuptial agreement, it is essential for those that do to have the contracts drafted expertly, accurately and thoughtfully.
